Mr Khairul Nizan Mohd Aris is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Art and Design, University Technology MARA Shah Alam. He is also an owner and designer for NIZAN DESIGN company at Kuala Lumpur. He completed his Master of Arts (M.A) in Industrial Formative Arts (Ceramic) from Nagoya University of Arts, Japan in 2004. He is a practitioner in the field of ceramics for almost 20 years. He like to see the world in the eyes of perfection. For him, the quality lies in the details and the craftsmanship. For that matter, he work with high grade porcelain to get the best quality result of whiteness, smoothness and the tactile quality through a thoughtful design process and the most important is, his work is handmade with perfection. He has served on International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) as an artist, Majlis Rekabentuk Malaysia (MRM) as a member and Balai Seni Visual Negara as an artist.
